Sand Castle Oil spill.
This new work is added to the Chateau de sable series, inviting us to reflect on the theme of ecology.
An oil tanker was wrecked on the coast of Brittany and spilled its oil into the ocean and onto the shores. Echoing some disasters of the past, we can cite the Amoco Cadiz and Erika. We find on the beach the strange character imagined by Wabyanko, building a fragile sand castle, ephemeral disappearing with the waves or the wind.
Original work on A4 paper (21 x 30 cm), a limited edition is also available.
