For an exhibition in Paris in February 2024, on the theme of “Thinking the process”, the artist Wabyanko imagined the work “butterfly orchid metamorphosis” which expresses both transformation and the frozen moments of change. The project offers a poetic and philosophical vision through different artistic media. The Peacock Butterfly painting by day echoes this project.
Beyond the work exhibited, the artist invites us to reflect
on different themes such as the fragility of our environment, the power of nature, changes and metamorphosis, questions about time and the cycle of life.
